The Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society is announcing a new Special Issue of the ACES Journal dedicated to the topic of Big Data in Electromagnetics and its applications. In this special issue we are targeting methods and techniques for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data related to electromagnetics, and antennas applications to discover patterns and other valuable information. Papers addressing the advances in computer hardware and software dedicated to the management of large structured or unstructured date are also welcome.
Prospective authors are encouraged to submit papers that relate to the above-mentioned issues. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Big data techniques
Big data analytics
Big data electromagnetics
Advanced electromagnetics theory for big data applications
Methods and techniques for accelerating big data analysis
Utilization of advanced computer hardware and software for big data analysis
Deadline for paper submission is December 31, 2016, however early submission is encouraged to allow for faster review and publication preparation process. Expected publication date is April 2017.
Potential contributors wishing to discuss the suitability of their contribution may contact either of the Guest Editors. Papers should be uploaded to ACES server at http://aces-society.org by using the “upload” button, “Journal”, “upload a new paper”, then by selecting “Special issue on Big Data Electromagnetics”.
Only papers following the format requirements posted on ACES web site under the journal section will be processed for review by the editor of the journal. Email or paper submission will not be processed.
There is a basic publication charge assigned to each paper submitted ($150 for ACES Members and $200 for non-Members). Corresponding author should be active member of the society at the time of submission and at the time of publication in order to receive the reduced member charge. Over page charge of $50 per page are applied for papers with more than Six (6) pages. Payment of publication charge and/or over page charge, if applicable, should be completed on line right after the acceptance of the paper in order to proceed with publication.
ACES Journal is abstracted in INSPEC, in Engineering Index, DTIC, Science Citation Index Expanded, the Research Alert, and to Current Contents/Engineering, Computing & Technology.
